Advertising campaign includes individualized spots calling out Sens. Cruz and Scott.
Ahead of the anniversary of Medicare being signed into law, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) is launching a new digital advertisement: “Memories,” highlighting Senate Republicans’ agenda that would end Medicare and Social Security, raising health care costs on seniors and hard working Americans.
The advertising campaign includes individualized spots calling out Sens. Cruz in Texas and Scott in Florida, and will also run in Ohio, Montana, Pennsylvania, Nevada, Wisconsin, Michigan and Arizona. The ads will reach over a million voters across these states on Medicare’s anniversary through Meta platforms as part of a five figure campaign in the style of the ‘memories’ users see on platforms like Facebook.
From Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee spokesperson Tommy Garcia: “In 2024, voters will hold Ted Cruz, Rick Scott and every GOP Senate candidate accountable for their party’s agenda that would gut Medicare and spike the cost of their health care and prescription drugs.”
