Ahead of President Biden’s State of the Union address, today the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) is releasing a new television ad: “Most People.”
The spot highlights the contrast in the 2022 campaign: while Senate Democrats are fighting for working families’ most pressing priorities like lowering costs, cutting taxes and rebuilding America – Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans are pushing the agenda of the ultra-wealthy and big corporations that get rich by keeping prices high.
“Voters will face a clear choice in this election,” said Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee Chair Sen. Gary Peters. “Senate Democrats are fighting to address the issues that matter most to working Americans – lowering costs, cutting taxes, and rebuilding the infrastructure we need to grow our economy at home and out-compete countries around the world. But Republicans have shown who they’re fighting for too: the ultra-wealthy, the well-connected, and big corporations that get rich by keeping prices high. Ahead of the State of the Union, Americans can see the contrast between the parties clearly, and in November they’ll stand with Democrats to protect and expand our Senate majority.”
The ad will air today on FOX, MSNBC and CNN.
