As Senate Democrats Hold Hearings On Lowering Prescription Drug Costs, Contrast With Republicans Is Clear

In response to Senate Democrats today holding a committee hearing on “Ensuring Fairness and Transparency in the Market for Prescription Drugs,” Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee spokesperson Nora Keefe issued the following statement:

“While Republicans wage a relentless campaign to make abortion illegal and implement cruel punishments on women, Senate Democrats are fighting to help working families by lowering the costs of prescription drugs and taking on the big drug companies that get rich by keeping prices high. For voters the contrast is clear, and it will lead Senate Republicans’ campaigns to defeat in November.”
