DSCC Communications Director Sadie Weiner made the following statement today regarding Jon Keyser’s decision to join the crowded primary for the Republican Senate nomination in Colorado:
“Washington Republicans have been turned down by all of their first and second tier choices in Colorado, and today their crowded field of candidates grew even larger. Jon Keyser has fought against the principles important to Colorado families, like growing the middle class and protecting women’s healthcare, and the Republican primary will be divisive and harmful to their chances of winning this seat. Michael Bennet has been a champion for Colorado families, and as he continues to build on his strong record of working across party lines to get results, we are confident he will be re-elected.”
