The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee is expanding its initial digital advertising campaign featuring six-second, non-skippable YouTube bumper ads on the GOP’s toxic healthcare plan to target 12 additional members of Congress who voted for the healthcare bill last week:
In West Virginia, Indiana, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania and North Dakota the ads will highlight how specific members of Congress are increasing costs and jeopardizing coverage for drug addiction treatment; in Michigan the ad will highlight how Congressman Upton is increasing costs and jeopardizing coverage for pregnancy care. The ads will run statewide as part of an ongoing six figure ad buy.
The DSCC is the first national campaign committee to utilize YouTube’s innovative bumper ad format during the 2018 campaign cycle. The six-second non-skippable ads are optimal for delivering critical messages while keeping viewer attention, especially across mobile platforms.
