BIG MONEY MOVES → This week, the DSCC announced an eight figure investment to hire on the ground staff in Montana & Ohio.

• In Nevada, Sen. Jacky Rosen raised $3.2 million and reported a record-breaking $10.6 million cash on hand.
  
  
• In Ohio, Sen. Sherrod Brown raised $6.6 million with a booming $14.6 million cash on hand.
  
  
• In Pennsylvania, Sen. Bob Casey raised more than $3.6 million. Powered by grassroots donors, 92 percent of Q4’s donations were under $100.
  
  
• In Wisconsin, Sen. Tammy Baldwin raised more than $3 million with donations from every county in Wisconsin.
  
  
• In Michigan, Democratic candidate Elissa Slotkin raised over $2.8 million, making her 2023 total of nearly $12 million a “record-setting haul.” 

DAVE MCCORMICK, PROFESSIONAL JOB KILLER: Mega-millionaire David McCormick’s “recent work at the helm of Bridgewater […] paints his record as a job creator in an even less flattering light.” According to new reporting from HuffPost, “McCormick presided over a 400-plus person reduction at Bridgewater, despite the company receiving a $52 million subsidy.” “Don’t worry, Bridgewater Associates still kept millions from the taxpayers.”

GOP ABORTION PROBLEM OF THE WEEK: 

• In FL… A House Republican in the Legislature has filed a bill that would essentially ban all abortions in Florida. Democratic Senate candidate Debbie Mucarsel-Powell, clapped back at the Florida Republicans’ proposal in a statement: “Just last week, Scott doubled down on his radical stance supporting a national abortion ban and undermining women’s fundamental rights as a ‘tough issue.’ Rick Scott and Republicans have proven there’s no line they won’t cross in their fight to take away our freedoms. Floridians won’t stand for it, and neither will I.”

AND In Texas – During an interview with Inside Texas Politics, Rep. Colin Allred argues for a women’s right to make her own reproductive decisions, “I think we’re about freedom in our state. Fundamentally, I think Texans want to be left alone. They want to be able to pursue their version of the American dream. We’re not really in favor of government making personal decisions for you, and that’s what we’re seeing right here.”

BUCKEYE BRAWL CONTINUES… “DESPERATE LITTLEMAN”…→ On a leaked recording posted on X, Frank LaRose accuses GOP opponent Bernie Moreno and J.D. Vance of being involved in “dirty insider politics”. J.D. Vance bashed LaRose: “Career politician Frank Larose will lie through his teeth to get power.” 

ROGERS CAVING TO PRESSURE CAUSES CHAOS IN MICHIGAN → Republicans pounced on Mike Rogers after he endorsed Donald Trump for President: James Craig called Rogers a “career politician” who will “do anything and say anything to get power,” and Sandy Pensler said Rogers has “a complete lack of principles” and “does whatever benefits him.”

• ERIC HOVDE, CALIFORNIA DREAMING → Spectrum News reported “an Instagram video show[ed] Hovde at a holiday party for the bank he owns in California on the day he received the NRSC endorsement” in the Wisconsin GOP primary.

• ANYWHERE BUT ARIZONA → Kari Lake continues to campaign outside of Arizona, with the latest report by AZRepublic revealing that her next stop is Iowa, where she’ll be stumping for Trump. 

OUCH, THAT’S GOTTA HURT…  Nevada GOP candidate Jeff Gunter brutally attacks Sam Brown – or in his words “Scam” Brown – in a new video saying “when Mitch McConnell says dance, Scam Brown says like this.”
