This week, ahead of Florida’s six-week abortion ban — backed by Sen. Rick Scott — taking effect and the second anniversary of the leaked Republican Supreme Court decision that overturned Roe v. Wade, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) is relaunching GOPonAbortion.com, a website highlighting GOP Senate candidates’ own words and records opposing women’s right to make their own health care decisions.
The site, which was first published in 2022 and re-released earlier this year, has been updated to reflect Republican candidates running this cycle and includes additional examples of GOP candidates reaffirming their support for draconian abortion bans in their states — like Sen. Rick Scott and Kari Lake, doubling-down on their clear records opposing reproductive freedom, and more.
The site also includes an updated video, “In Their Own Words.”
