DSCC Releases New Ad on Sam Brown: “MAGA Extremist” 

Ad highlights how Brown’s MAGA agenda is too extreme for Nevadans: banning abortion, re-opening Yucca Mountain and phasing out Social Security & Medicare

In response to Nevada’s GOP Senate primary, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) is launching a new digital advertisement on Sam Brown: “MAGA Extremist.” 

The spot highlights how Brown’s MAGA agenda is too extreme for Nevadans – like his plans to re-open Yucca Mountain as a nuclear waste repository, ban abortion, and phase out Social Security and Medicare.

The ad will reach Independent voters in Nevada on YouTube.

From DSCC spokesperson Amanda Sherman Baity: “Sam Brown is a MAGA extremist, with a self-serving political agenda that would hurt hard working Nevadans: banning abortion, phasing out Social Security and Medicare, and even re-opening Yucca Mountain as a nuclear waste repository. He’s shown Nevadans that his plans are too extreme and too dangerous for him to be anywhere near the U.S. Senate.” 

Brown’s record of putting his own MAGA politics ahead of what’s best for Nevada: 

• Brown said that his anti-abortion views are “non-negotiable,” repeatedly supporting banning abortion without exceptions for rape or incest, including a Texas law that had some of the toughest abortion restrictions in the country. 

• Brown supports re-opening Yucca Mountain as a nuclear waste repository. Re-opening Yucca, like Brown wants, was called the “third rail” of Nevada politics because it goes against scientific, business, and political leaders from across the Silver State.

• Brown was caught on tape saying that he admired an extreme plan that would phase out Social Security and Medicare in five years – calling it a “roadmap for a better America.”
