The DSCC released a new TV ad in Iowa’s Senate race, “Milk,” spotlighting how Senator Joni Ernst has failed Iowa seniors.
In Washington, Senator Ernst has prioritized her corporate special interest donors over hardworking Iowa seniors. Ernst supported proposals that would “essentially end Medicare” and voted to eliminate protections for the more than one million of Iowans with pre-existing conditions. She’s pushed plans that would raid Social Security and increase costs for Iowa seniors by $6,000 more per year. And while Ernst abandoned Iowa seniors, she’s voted for trillions in tax cuts for corporations and special interest donors, like the ones funding her campaign.
The ad is the sixth to run in Iowa from the DSCC IE and is part of the committee’s previously announced offensive investments in key battleground states.

Transcript:
“Joni Ernst is an utter failure for Iowa seniors. Ernst supported a plan the Wall Street Journal said would essentially end Medicare and voted to eliminate protections for pre-existing conditions. She wanted to cut Social Security and squeeze us for $6,000 more a year. Ernst even voted to give trillions in tax giveaways to corporate special interests. Joni Ernst — milking Iowa seniors for everything they’ve got.”
