DSCC Sends GOP Senate Candidates Their Party’s Agenda That Would Raise Taxes On Seniors & Working Families

The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) announced it is mailing 24 Republican Senate candidates in key battleground states their party’s midterm agenda, which calls for a “tax increase on over half of Americans.”

From Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee Spokesperson Eli Cousin: “Every Republican Senate candidate owns their party’s plan that would raise taxes on millions of seniors and hard working Americans – which is why we are personally making sure they have a copy. From now until election day, GOP Senate candidates will have to explain to voters why they are pushing the interests of the ultra-wealthy and big corporations that are raising prices at the expense of working families – and now they won’t be able to pretend they haven’t seen the unpopular agenda they’ll be forced to defend.”

The DSCC specifically highlighted the section of Republicans’ midterm agenda that calls for raising taxes on more than half of all Americans

The Republican agenda was mailed to GOP Senate candidates in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

The DSCC has also released a new five-figure radio ad campaign and a Fact Sheet on Senate Republicans’ plan to spike taxes.
