DSCC Communications Director Sadie Weiner made the following statement today regarding Tim Neville’s decision to join the crowded primary for the Republican Senate nomination in Colorado:
“After losing one recruit after another in Colorado, Washington Republicans have struggled for months to find a candidate there, and now state Senator Tim Neville has thrown his hat into a crowded field full of second and third-tier candidates. Neville’s reckless, far right-wing positions show that he is totally out of touch with Colorado families. While this divisive GOP primary wages on, Michael Bennet continues to build a record of working across the aisle to fight for Colorado families, and he is in a strong position to win re-election in November.”
