In response to the 6th anniversary of Senate Republicans’ corporate tax giveaway being signed into law, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee spokesperson Tommy Garcia issued the following statement:
“When Republicans were in charge, they used the Senate to give tax handouts to their donors, the wealthiest few and big corporations that get rich by keeping prices high – all while jeopardizing Medicare and Social Security. Republican Senate candidates have made it clear they support these toxic policies, and in 2024 voters will hold them accountable for pushing the interests of the wealthy and well-connected at the expense of hard-working Americans.”
