In response to Florida Republicans filing a bill to ban abortion without exceptions, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee spokesperson Maeve Coyle released the following statement:
“Scott has made clear he opposes women’s right to make our own health care decisions – and now Florida women are under new threat from a proposal that would ban abortion in nearly every situation, while putting doctors in jail for doing their jobs. In 2024, women’s right to make our own medical choices will be on the ballot, and voters will hold Scott accountable for his toxic agenda by voting him out of office.”
