In response to the Ohio Issue 1 election results, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee spokesperson Maeve Coyle issued the following statement:
“Once again in a Senate battleground, voters sent a loud and resounding message: they’ll protect women’s right to make our own health care decisions and fight back against Republicans’ dangerous plans to ban abortions without exceptions. Republicans’ toxic agenda on this defining issue of the 2024 election will lead their Senate candidates to defeat across the country.”
