In response to Senators Cruz and Scott voting against advancing the Senate’s national security supplemental package, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee spokesperson David Bergstein issued the following statement:
“Cruz and Scott’s vote is a gift to America’s adversaries in Russia, China, and the Middle East, along with the fentanyl traffickers at our border. Even as our country faces multiple threats, Cruz and Scott put their self-serving politics above America’s national security, and in 2024 voters in their states will hold them accountable.”
