In response to former President Trump’s continued defense of the deadly January 6th attack on our nation’s Capitol, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee spokesperson Jazmin Vargas released the following statement:
“Republican Senate candidates have proudly followed Trump’s lead in defending the deadly January 6th insurrection, and his dangerous rhetoric is only escalating. If Republican candidates do not have the spine to start condemning these absurd and horrific comments from Trump they have no place in the U.S. Senate.”
