As Senate Republicans meet today to consider their “menu of options” on health care, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee Spokesman David Bergstein issued the following statement:
“These meetings should be short. Republican Senators like Dean Heller and Jeff Flake have no good options when it comes to their toxic plan to make working families pay more for less care and impose an age tax on older Americans. If they thought the backlash they’ve seen so far was bad, just wait until whatever mess they’ve cooked up behind those closed doors sees the light of day.”
