In response to the Congressional Budget Office score of the Senate’s Republican Healthcare Plan, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee spokesman David Bergstein released the following statement:
“The nonpartisan Congressional Budget office confirms what voters already know: the Republican health care plan will make working people pay more for less care. Just like the House plan, the Senate would spike costs by 20 percent and strip coverage — all to give big insurance companies and the wealthiest few another tax break. Working families could feel the impact of this plan as soon as next year, and when they see their costs rise and their coverage taken away they will hold Republicans like Senators Heller, Flake and every GOP Senate candidate accountable.”
