Steve Daines spent six years living in China, where he helped Procter & Gamble set up factories at the same time that they were laying off 4,000 American workers. Newspapers call Daines “China’s Cheerleader” because he has “done its political bidding” in Washington. Daines has been so helpful to China and the Communist Party that the Chinese government even called Daines, “China’s ambassador in Congress.”
