In response to a new POLITICO report detailing how Minority Leader McConnell is continuing to wage a campaign of obstruction in the Senate, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee spokeswoman Jazmin Vargas released the following statement:
“Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans are doing nothing but standing in the way of progress on the issues that matter most to the American people. Whether he’s blocking infrastructure proposals that will help create more good paying jobs or opposing the coronavirus relief package which delivered checks, shots and financial support to working families, his campaign of obstruction represents exactly what voters don’t like about Washington — and every GOP Senate candidate will have to answer for it.”
