A new shadowy Karl Rove group is back up on the air to defend “three vulnerable Republican Senators in New Hampshire, Ohio and Pennsylvania,” according to USA Today. Below is a statement from DSCC Communications Director Justin Barasky:
“Voters in Ohio, Pennsylvania and New Hampshire believe that Kelly Ayotte, Rob Portman and Pat Toomey have taken a position on trade that has hurt their state’s economy and sent jobs elsewhere, so it’s no surprise that Karl Rove is doing everything he can to keep them afloat. Unfortunately for these Senators, no amount of shadowy outside money can change the fact that they’re out of step with the voters in their states and will be held accountable in 2016.”
