In response to Senators Cruz and Scott voting against the Senate’s bipartisan appropriations package, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee spokesperson Tommy Garcia issued the following statement:
“Cruz and Scott refused to do their job, keep the government open and address some of the important challenges facing veterans, farmers and working families in their states. Republicans and Democrats supported this bil, but Cruz and Scott once again put their petty, self-serving politics first – and they’ve given voters another reason to fire them in 2024.”
