In response to Senator Cruz voting against ending Senator Tuberville’s blockade of military promotions, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee spokesperson Amanda Sherman Baity issued the following statement:
“Senator Cruz is putting his own self-serving politics ahead of America’s brave service members, and the national security of our country. If Cruz is more interested in pushing his selfish and dangerous political agenda than keeping Americans safe, then he has no place representing Texans in the Senate.”
