Ahead of the anniversary of Medicare being signed into law, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) is launching a new digital advertisement: “TX Memories,” highlighting Cruz’s agenda that would threaten Medicare and Social Security, raising health care costs on Texas seniors and hard working families.
The advertising campaign calling out Cruz will reach older voters in Texas on Medicare’s anniversary through Meta platforms as part of a five figure campaign in the style of the ‘memories’ users see on platforms like Facebook.
From Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee spokesperson Amanda Sherman Baity: “Cruz’s record of pushing to slash Medicare and Social Security would spike the cost of health care and prescription drugs for Texas seniors. He’s unpopular, unlikeable, and his attacks on these vital programs give Texas voters even more reason to vote him out of office in 2024.”
