GOPonAbortion.com highlights Senate Republican candidates’ words and records opposing women’s rights to make their own health care decisions
In response to the Republican Supreme Court’s ruling overturning Roe v. Wade, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) is launching a new website, GOPonAbortion.com, highlighting GOP Senate candidates’ own words and records opposing women’s rights to make their own health care decisions.
From Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee spokesperson Nora Keefe: “This website will help voters learn how Republican Senate candidates have made it clear they stand in lockstep with their party’s agenda to make abortion illegal everywhere – without exceptions for rape, incest and the life of the mother – and impose new, cruel, and punishing restrictions on women and families. Americans believe that women should have the right to make our own health care decisions, not politicians – and that’s exactly why they will reject GOP Senate campaigns in November.”
The website also highlights the DSCC’s new video compilation featuring footage of GOP Senate candidates speaking in their own words about their opposition to abortion access.
