“Katie grew up the ninth of ten kids in a working class family, and she understands the importance of programs like Social Security because her family relied on them,” said Lauren Passalacqua, DSCC National Press Secretary. “President Obama and Vice President Biden have endorsed Katie because they know she will stand up for working families by fighting to get women equal pay and protecting Social Security and Medicare. Pennsylvania families have a true champion in Katie McGinty.”
