It’s been another bad week for Senate Republican candidates who “pretend to be something they’re not” and “can’t take the heat” on the campaign trail.
MSNBC details how multiple GOP Senate candidates have been caught lying about their biographies – spotlighting Tim Sheehy and Dave McCormick who have both been exposed for lying about their upbringings:

SHEEHY KEEPS GETTING SLAMMED FOR SHADY STORIES → Fallout and backlash is growing for Tim Sheehy following multiple reports revealing he has given “several inconsistent accounts” about his military record, lied about growing up in “rural” Minnesota, and more that “doesn’t add up.”
HOVDE HAUNTED BY ELDER ABUSE LAWSUIT → A bombshell report from the New York Times revealed that Eric Hovde’s bank was “named as a co-defendant in a California lawsuit that accuses a senior living facility partly owned by the bank of elder abuse, negligence, and wrongful death.” This comes after Hovde made shocking claims that “seniors shouldn’t vote” saying, “people in nursing homes aren’t ‘in a point’ to vote.” Read more:

NASTY IN NEVADA → The New York Times detailed how Sam Brown was “jolted” last week “when a deep-pocketed rival took aim” at him. Jeff Gunter, another Republican candidate, has spent millions in the race attacking Brown, criticizing him for having “little to point to as far as experience or expertise.”
LAKE DROWNING IN BAD PRESS, CALLS FOR SHERIFFS TO ENFORCE 1864 ABORTION BAN → This week, Kari Lake once again made headlines for all the wrong reasons, this time for saying it was unfortunate the 1864 abortion ban is not currently being enforced, calling “on Arizona county sheriffs to enforce 1864 abortion ban,” and telling Arizonans upset about the abortion ban they could just drive three hours to another state. ANOTHER L FOR LAKE → Kari Lake experienced another national embarrassment as the Supreme Court “toss[ed] aside” and rejected her “frivolous” election denialism appeal case in her “latest legal setback.”
REPUBLICANS’ LATEST ATTACK ON ABORTION ACCESS AT SCOTUS → As the Supreme Court heard a case that seeks to ban access to abortion even in life-threatening emergencies, Democrats including the DSCC are warning and reminding voters of the threat a Republican-controlled Senate poses.
