In response to Senators Cruz and Scott voting against the Senate’s national security funding legislation, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee spokesperson Tommy Garcia issued the following statement:
“Cruz and Scott’s vote is a gift to America’s adversaries in Russia, China, and the Middle East. Even as our country and American service members face multiple threats across the globe, Cruz and Scott put their self-serving politics above our national security. In November, voters will hold them accountable for this dangerous position.”
