In response to the new Congressional Budget Office report demonstrating that Republican efforts to sabotage America’s health insurance system will increase premiums by 20 percent, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee Spokesman David Bergstein released the following statement:
“This report is the latest demonstration that working families will pay more for less health care — with premiums rising as much as 20 percent — because Republicans are breaking their promises, sabotaging the health insurance system and advancing a toxic agenda that will spike costs and strip coverage. Voters know the GOP is responsible for making their health care more expensive and jeopardizing their care — and in 2018 they will hold every Republican Senate candidate accountable.”
