DSCC Communications Director Sadie Weiner issued the following statement on the results of tonight’s Republican Nevada Caucuses:
“Donald Trump has won his third statewide contest, and vulnerable incumbents’ worst fears are becoming reality. They’ve all promised to back the eventual nominee, which could leave them tied to one of the most divisive candidates in GOP history. Voters in Senate battleground states around the country won’t elect Trump or the down-ballot Senate candidates who support him. It certainly is a bad time to be a Senate Republican.”
