On the anniversary of the signing of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee Chair Sen. Gary Peters issued the following statement:
“Senate Democrats did what Republicans would not do – bring both political parties together to rebuild our infrastructure and address Americans’ most pressing priorities: lowering costs, growing better paying jobs and ensuring America out-competes countries like China. Now, communities are seeing first-hand the impacts of this historic work: bridges and highways being rebuilt, cleaner drinking water, better internet in rural towns, and improved supply chains helping drive down costs. Two years later, this infrastructure law shows how Senate Democrats are fighting to put the interests of working Americans first – and that’s why voters will stand with us in 2024 to protect and strengthen our Senate majority.”
