In response to the 6th anniversary of Ted Cruz’s corporate tax giveaway being signed into law, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee spokesperson Amanda Sherman Baity issued the following statement:
“Cruz voted to give tax handouts to donors, the wealthiest few and big corporations that get rich by keeping prices high – all while jeopardizing Medicare and Social Security. Cruz has made it clear he continues to support these toxic policies, and in 2024, Texas voters will hold him accountable for pushing the interests of the wealthy and well-connected at the expense of hard-working Texans.”
