In response to new, bombshell reporting from The Washington Post detailing how Oz promoted “dangerous products and fringe viewpoints” and advocated for “quack cures” on his TV show, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee spokesperson Patrick Burgwinkle issued the following statement:
“This bombshell report confirms one of the most important reasons Pennsylvania voters will vote against Mehmet Oz: he’s a fraud and a scam artist who will do, say, and sell anything to help himself – no matter who gets hurt. Pennsylvania deserves better than a self-serving conman in the U.S. Senate, which is exactly why Oz will be rejected in November.”
