DSCC Statement on Republican Senate Candidates Opposing Bipartisan Border Package Before Text is Even Released

Today Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) spokesperson Tommy Garcia released the following statement on Republican Senate candidates opposing the bipartisan border package before text of the bill is even released: 

“Republican Senate candidates have made it clear they don’t care about securing our border or keeping Americans safe. These GOP candidates are practicing the worst kind of Washington politics, and in 2024 voters will hold them accountable for prioritizing their dangerous, ridiculous political agenda at the expense of our country’s security.” 

Even before text of the bill has been released, Senate Republican candidates are on record opposing the bipartisan proposal to secure the border: 

ARIZONA:

FLORIDA:

MONTANA:

NEVADA:
