In response to the House of Representatives voting to pass the Democrats’ Build Back Better Budget resolution, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee spokeswoman Jazmin Vargas released the following statement:
“Democrats’ Build Back Better Budget resolution is a reminder of voters’ clear choice in 2022. While Democrats are growing millions of good-paying jobs, cutting taxes for American families and lowering health care costs — all without raising taxes on anyone making under $400,000 — Republicans are standing in the way of Americans’ most important priorities and trying to advance the interests of the wealthy and well-connected at every turn. Every GOP Senate candidate will have to answer for their party’s agenda, and voters will hold them accountable in the campaign ahead.”
