Today the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee is launching a digital advertising campaign highlighting that Senator Rick Scott is “back[ing] House GOP efforts to shut down the government” and “oppose[s] even considering legislation to help avert an Oct. 1 shutdown.” The ads also detail how the shutdown would threaten Social Security and raise costs for working families.
The Google search advertisements will reach voters this weekend looking for information about Scott and a government shutdown as part of a five figure buy. The ads direct individuals to learn more information about Scott’s support for a shutdown and its impacts. The ads will reach older voters across Florida.
