Senate Democrats Dominate Fundraising with “Record-Breaking” Q2 Numbers

Across key battleground states, Senate Democrats’ campaigns posted “record-breaking” fundraising reports during the second quarter, and a wave of new reporting highlights how these fundraising numbers demonstrate “there’s no shortage of grassroots energy for the party’s top Senate candidates” and that it “shows no signs of abating.”

• In Montana: Jon Tester announced $5 million in the second fundraising quarter of his reelection campaign, his “best second-quarter fundraising total for a non-election year.” Tester saw strong support across all 56 counties in Montana.
  
  
• In Nevada: Jacky Rosen raised $2.7 million with $7.5 million in cash on hand in the second quarter, “a state record for money in the bank at this point.”
  
  
• In Ohio: Sherrod Brown raised $5 million with $8.7 million cash on hand in the second fundraising quarter. Brown saw strong support from small dollar donors with 95% of his contributions this quarter being under $100.
  
  
• In Pennsylvania: Bob Casey raised $4 million  with $6 million in his coffers in the second fundraising quarter — “the best period of his 17 years in office.” 

• In Wisconsin: Tammy Baldwin raised more than $3.2 million in the second fundraising quarter — “that’s the highest dollar amount ever raised in a Wisconsin Senate race in one quarter during an off-year.”
