DAVID CLARKE: “The National Republican Senatorial Committee is against winning. All right, they abhor winning, I think that was proven in the 2022 midterms.”
FREDERICKS: “You’re basically saying, hey, it’s the grassroots of the Republican Party versus all the big donors. And because one of the things that the Senatorial Leadership Committee or whatever they are, McConnell’s PAC, one of the things they said is well, we’re looking for wealthy people that can help self-fund their campaign, because we don’t ever have enough money.”
CLARKE: “It sends a horrible message.”
