• Recent reporting from WV MetroNews details that U.S. Marshals were sent to seize a helicopter owned by Justice’s business over a debt of $8.4 million to the owner of a Russian mining company.
  
  

• Justice continues to “dodge” and “deflect questions from local reporters about his most recent financial disclosures.” Justice’s PFD — which was submitted 134 days after its original due date — revealed millions in personal liabilities, promissory notes for millions in debts, and several personal lines of credit with 0 percent interest rates and payment on demand, among others. 
  

• Mooney attacked Justice for “hurting coal miners and West Virginia’s economy,” citing a recent report detailing “a British Virgin Islands-based firm has asked a U.S. court to approve seizing property of one of Gov. Jim Justice’s coal companies in response to what it says has been the Justice company’s failure to pay a court-ordered sum of over $10 million.”
