New reporting highlights the DSCC’s new website: WhatIsJimJusticeHiding.com. The website looks at Jim Justice’s refusal to release his work schedule and financial documents, questions about his stamina and well being that have been raised by West Virginia media outlets, and the barrage of financial scandals that his primary opponent Alex Mooney is already attacking him over.

• A new Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) website called “WhatIsJimJusticeHiding.com” features several tweets from his Republican primary rival, Rep. Alex Mooney (R, WV-2).

• The DSCC announced its launch of the website via a press release on Tuesday, saying its purpose is to detail the group’s lawsuit against Justice to obtain his schedule and financial documents and report Justice’s “various financial entanglements.”
  
  
• The website also shares news outlets’ speculations about the governor’s health, after he underwent a gallbladder removal surgery from what his office, in a statement, called a “sudden flare-up.”
  
  
• The bottom of the website features screenshots of tweets from Rep. Mooney’s campaign Twitter account, including one that says “Liberal @JimJusticeWV has his own problems balancing his checkbook. While throwing money away might not be a concern for a billionaire like Justice, it should concern West Virginians that he’s $850 MILLION IN DEBT” and another referring to the governor as the “King of Scandals.”

• Mooney previously launched his own attack website about Justice called “phonyjustice.com.”

The Intelligencer: Justice-owned companies make deal with feds on late payments

• Since the beginning of the year, Justice and his companies have faced banks seeking hundreds of millions in payments for loans personally secured by the governor, First Lady Cathy Justice and his children who run the Justice’s businesses day-to-day. Another bank has sought garnishment of Justice’s state salary as governor.

• The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee launched a website, WhatIsJimJusticeHiding.com, aimed at chronicling these issues. “Jim Justice’s missing schedule and financial scandals are taking center stage in West Virginia Republicans’ nasty, messy, expensive intraparty fight,” said Amanda Sherman Baity, a spokesperson for the Senatorial Campaign Committee.
  
  
• “As this primary intensifies, Justice won’t be able to hide from the looming questions that are being raised about his absence on the job, his shady finances and his growing mountain of scandals.”

• On Tuesday, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee launched a new website taking aim at West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice. The website, WhatIsJimJusticeHiding.com… details the group’s lawsuit against Justice to obtain his schedule and financial documents and reporting about the West Virginia governor’s various financial entanglements. 

• It also highlights the attacks that Rep. Alex Mooney, Justice’s primary challenger, has been levying against him. “As this primary intensifies, Justice won’t be able to hide from the looming questions that are being raised about his absence on the job, his shady finances and his growing additional scandals,” said DSCC spokesperson Amanda Sherman Baity.

• Democrats are also elevating Mooney’s attacks against Justice. Mooney has dubbed Justice “the king of scandals” and has accused Justice of “hiding his finances” in order to cover up debts to foreign counties like China or Russia. Recently, Mooney campaigned with Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul in Huntingdon. Paul said Justice would be a member of the “big government” wing of the Republican conference, asserting that Mooney would be focused on reigning in the national debt. Mooney has the endorsement of three senators—Paul, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, and Utah Sen. Mike Lee.
