“We congratulate Deborah Ross on her victory in tonight’s North Carolina Senate primary. Deborah was recognized as one of North Carolina’s most effective legislators during her time in the state legislature, and she will bring that same commitment to North Carolina families to the United States Senate. Her record is a stark contrast with Senator Richard Burr who has voted with his party a staggering 95 percent of the time in favor of cutting billions from Pell Grants, turning Medicare into a voucher program and protecting companies that ship North Carolina jobs overseas. We are proud to stand with Deborah Ross and look forward to the good work she will do for North Carolina in the U.S. Senate.”
