Today the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) is releasing a new ad in the Arizona Senate race, “Privatize.”
The spot highlights how Masters would privatize Social Security, putting the hard-earned benefits of Arizona seniors on the chopping block.
The ad is part of the DSCC’s previously announced $33 million independent expenditure reservation.
Transcript:
Announcer: Blake Masters wants to cut taxes for billionaires.
Announcer: And to pay for it? He said he’d cut our Social Security and privatize it.
Masters: Right? Maybe we should privatize Social Security? Privatize Social Security.
Julie: How could he do that? We paid into Social Security with every single paycheck. We rely on Social Security to pay our bills.
Announcer: And Blake Masters said he would gamble it all on the stock market.
Announcer: We can’t trust Blake Masters with our retirement.
