The DSCC released a new TV ad in Montana’s Senate race, “Worth to You,” focusing on Senator Steve Daines’ toxic record on health care as he sold out Montanans to side with the drug and insurance industries.
Senator Daines has taken hundreds of thousands of dollars from the drug and insurance industries while repeatedly voting to decrease access and increase costs for Montanans’ health care. In Washington, Daines sold out Montanans by voting four times to gut protections for Montanans with pre-existing conditions. His votes have put rural hospitals at risk and threatened hardworking Montana families with higher costs and less access to health care.
The ad is the second to run in Montana from the DSCC IE and is part of the committee’s previously announced offensive television and digital paid investments in key battleground states. The DSCC IE is also running digital advertisements on Facebook and Google.
Transcript:
“How much is your health care worth to you? It looks like it was worth $715,704 to Steve Daines. That’s how much campaign money Daines has taken from the drug and insurance industries. And Steve Daines sold out Montana, voting four times to gut protections for pre-existing conditions, to put rural hospitals at risk, and to increase costs for Montana families by $1,300 per year. Steve Daines — he puts money before Montana.”
