In response to Senate Republicans’ campaign Chair Sen. Rick Scott saying today on Meet The Press that there are “arguments to do” an abortion ban “at the federal level,” Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee spokesperson Nora Keefe issued the following statement:
“Republicans continue to tell voters exactly what they would do if they get control of the Senate: pass a nationwide abortion ban, stripping away women’s right to make our own health care decisions. The stakes of protecting and expanding our Democratic Senate Majority in November have never been higher – and voters will reject GOP Senate candidates for standing in lockstep with their party’s disastrous anti-choice agenda.”
