In response to Senate Republicans blocking the Democratic bill to enshrine protections for in-vitro fertilization and other fertility services for veterans & service members into federal law, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee spokesperson Katarina Flicker issued the following statement:
“The actions of Senate Republicans speak louder than the NRSC’s words. Every Republican Senate candidate has a record of threatening access to IVF treatment, and now Senate Republicans have again put their party on record opposing women’s right to make our own personal decisions about our health care and our families. In November, voters will hold every GOP Senate candidate accountable for their attacks on women’s reproductive freedom and access to IVF.”
