“Trump at the top of the GOP ticket is the worst outcome for Republican Senate candidates. He energizes Democrats, alienates independent voters, and demands GOP candidates prioritize allegiance to him over anything else. Republican Senate candidates will spend the next months twisting themselves into knots answering for every word that comes out of Trump’s mouth.”
