Kelly Ayotte Sides with the Airline Industry Over Consumers

*Similar releases will be sent targeting vulnerable Senators in Arizona, Illinois, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Iowa and Ohio

Kelly Ayotte just joined with Senate Republicans to block a bill that would have prevented airlines from further shrinking the legroom and seat space on airplanes. This bill would have benefited the millions of Americans who fly every day, but Ayotte once again chose to side with the special interests that fill her campaign coffers.

In return for protecting their interests, the airline industry has given $123,400 to Ayotte in her career.

“Time and time again, Kelly Ayotte puts outside special interest groups ahead of Granite Staters,” said Lauren Passalacqua, DSCC National Press Secretary. “This latest vote once again shows that Ayotte’s interests do not lie with New Hampshire, and Granite Staters deserve better from their senator.”
