Denver 9News held Senator Cory Gardner accountable for still not “having the basic courage” to say whether President Trump pressuring a foreign government to investigate a political rival was wrong. Senator Gardner has dodged that basic question more than 20 times, and went on to try to defend the president’s conduct.

Gardner served as a  “loyal foot soldier” for both Trump and Mitch McConnell, and “he’s done next to nothing to build a reputation for moderation or demonstrate any independence from Trump.”
