In case you missed it, on CNN yesterday Maryland Republican Senate candidate Larry Hogan called abortion an “emotional issue for women” and revealed he opposes Maryland’s 2024 ballot measure protecting abortion access for women saying it “wasn’t really necessary.”

Dana Bash, CNN: “There is going to be a measure on the ballot — that presumably you will be on too — to make abortion rights a part of the Maryland Constitution. What do you think about that?”
Larry Hogan: “I already took a position on this bill. I said it wasn’t really necessary.”
