IN THE STATES: Democrats Slam Senate Republicans for Opposing Bipartisan Border Security Bill

Across Senate battlegrounds, Democrats are calling out GOP Senate candidates for opposing a bipartisan bill that would help secure our border, crack down on fentanyl trafficking and keep Americans safe.

See for yourself:

  • In Florida, the Debbie for Florida campaign called out Sen. Rick Scott for voting to “torpedo” the bipartisan bill.

  • In Michigan, the Michigan Democratic Party called out Mike Rogers for prioritizing politics over border security.

  • In Montana, the Montana Democratic Party called out Tim Sheehy and Matt Rosendale for their opposition to border security.
  • In Nevada, the Nevada Democratic Party called out Sam Brown for opposing the bipartisan bill before the text was released, and doubling down on his opposition after the text was released.
  • In Ohio, the Ohio Democratic Party launched a new digital ad calling out Bernie Moreno’s opposition to the border security bill.
  • In Texas, the Colin Allred for Senate campaign called out Sen. Ted Cruz for voting down the bipartisan border bill for the sake of partisan politics.
